THE ORIGIN OF WHEELIE

Welcome to the Digital Twin. Wheelie-World is a 1:1 scale simulation engine mapping the real-world geometry of Earth. By fusing Google 3D Photogrammetry Tiles with OpenStreetMap building extrusions, we have created a seamless, drivable mirror of the planet.

PHYSICS FIRST

Unlike traditional map viewers where you "fly" over the terrain as a floating camera, Wheelie is bound by gravity, friction, and the physical architecture of the environment. Curbs, steep hills, and terrain apexes must be navigated using the exact same principles required in the physical world.

THE VISION: COMMUNITY MAPPING

We are building a tool specifically designed to highlight real-world accessibility. Future updates will lock into your device's live GPS, allowing the community to permanently flag "Good Points" (smooth ramps, safe paths) and "Bad Points" (steep drop-offs, missing curbs, hazards) directly onto the 3D map. Together, we will build a global, safe-routing network for the community.

⚠️ EARLY DEVELOPMENT WARNING

This engine streams massive amounts of 3D data via live satellites. The geometry is stitched together dynamically as you drive. Occasionally, you may encounter microscopic gaps in the terrain mesh or "voids" where data is still loading.

If you fall through the map, do not change your physics settings. Simply refresh your browser. The engine will safely recalculate your altitude and drop you back onto the solid asphalt.
